ROCKVILLE: The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Accreditation Body (CMMC-AB) Board of Directors has engaged JDG Associates, Ltd. of Rockville, MD, to conduct the search for the organization’s first CEO.
On November 25, 2020 the CMMC-AB entered a contract with the DoD to become the exclusive accreditation body to build the CMMC ecosystem in support of the DoD’s CMMC requirements.
The CMMC provides a unified approach for implementing increased resilience against cybersecurity attacks across the Defense Supply Chain to significantly reduce the risk of compromise to sensitive defense information located on contractors’ information systems.
The CMMC-AB Board of Directors is seeking an innovative leader to serve as the first Chief Executive Officer of the newly formed 501.C(3) corporation. The successful candidate will have support from the Board of Directors to stand up the corporation from ground zero to support its ultimate customer, the Department of Defense.
