AUCKLAND: Trustpower Limited announcesdthat Matthew van Deventer will become GM – Technology and Delivery from 3 December 2020. This is an interim appointment with a permanent appointment expected in the first half of 2021.
CEO, David Prentice says, “We are delighted to take the opportunity to promote someone of Matt’s talent and potential to the Executive Team. Matt has been leading the Technology team at Trustpower for six years and in that time has led a range of initiatives including our migration to the cloud, the creation of our ISP team, and the introduction of the modern workplace technology that we now rely on every day. Prior to joining Trustpower Matt spent nine years at Trade Me running the Platform and Operations teams, and before that eight years building and leading technology teams in London.”
Matt says “I’m very excited about the opportunity to work in the leadership team driving Trustpower’s strategy and in particular maintaining the momentum we have achieved in developing a customer led digital strategy.”
