AMES: Renewable Energy Group has hired Trisha Conley to serve as Vice President, People Development effective August 24, 2020, a news release said.
Conley has an extensive background working in Human Resources, including serving in a variety of HR leadership roles. Most recently, she held the position of vice president HR, fuels North America and head of country HR, downstream in the U.S. and Mexico at BP. Conley has more than 25 years of experience in human resources, talent management, global integration and business organization.

As a member of the senior leadership team, Conley will serve in an executive business partner capacity, collaborating with line executives to set the people operations visions, strategic direction and financial performance objectives for the company. She will oversee the Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and Learning and Development teams.

Trisha holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations and communications from the University of Northern Iowa and an MBA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Trisha also serves as a trustee on the board for the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, IL. Trisha was born and raised in Marshalltown, IA. She will be relocating with her husband John and children Nataliya and Ian to the Ames area.
