BLOSSBURG: Rytoriacap Inc. (“Rytoria”), a North American leader in circular metal processing and recycling, has acquired ASC Engineered Solutions’ foundry and associated facilities in Blossburg, Pennsylvania, the companies announced Thursday.
The sale follows ASC’s effort to find a buyer committed to maintaining the site as an active part of Tioga County’s industrial economy.
“Blossburg is a wonderful community with great talent, and we are excited to launch the next chapter of Rytoria’s growth here,” said Lorne Kalisky, CEO of Rytoria. “This facility provides a strong foundation for our expansion and long-term success.”
Rytoria, headquartered in Yoe, Pennsylvania, recycles and processes non-ferrous and ferrous metals, including aluminum, copper and brass. Its subsidiary, Fagor Regen Aluminum, produces high-purity aluminum ingots for automotive and manufacturing industries.
ASC CEO Jason Hild said the company sought a buyer that would preserve the Blossburg facility’s legacy. “We’re pleased to have found a buyer in Rytoria that sees long-term opportunity in the site,” Hild said.
Rytoria plans a phased integration, starting with workforce engagement and infrastructure assessments. Key operational priorities are set for 2025. ASC will continue operations through a lease-back agreement until the end of 2025 while transitioning production to other Pennsylvania facilities.
The companies may explore future supply agreements.
Pennsylvania Rep. Clint Owlett called the deal “a positive development for Blossburg and the surrounding area,” while Tioga County Commissioner Shane Nickerson praised Rytoria’s investment as beneficial for both the company and community.
Founded in 2019, Rytoria processes and brokers recycled metals in the U.S. and Canada. Its subsidiary, Fagor Regen Aluminum, produces high-purity aluminum ingots from recycled materials.
ASC Engineered Solutions provides flow control products for industrial, commercial and residential applications, with manufacturing and distribution facilities across the U.S.
