TurbineOne secures $15M in Series-A to enhance ML solutions for national security

TurbineOne Inc., a pioneering firm in user-friendly, edge-first Machine Learning (ML) for government applications, has announced a successful $15 million Series-A funding round, a news release noted.

The investment was led by Bessemer Ventures Partners, with contributions from The General Partnership, XYZ Ventures, and the new addition of Pallas Ventures, a national security-focused investor.

The fresh capital will fuel TurbineOne’s expansion in the national security sector, supporting the Defense Department’s integration of ML technologies to navigate the complexities of modern warfare.

TurbineOne’s Frontline Perception System (FPS) is at the forefront, offering an automated threat detection and alert system that processes data from various military hardware and sensors, tailored for use even in the most challenging battlefield conditions.

Ian Kalin, Co-Founder and CEO of TurbineOne, expressed gratitude for the investors’ belief in their mission to empower American troops with superior decision-making tools. Janelle Teng, Vice President at Bessemer Ventures Partners, praised TurbineOne’s rapid government sales growth and its recognition by top national security agencies.

Since its inception in 2022, TurbineOne’s FPS has been integral in U.S. military operations, aiding non-technical personnel in enhancing ML models for better reconnaissance and intelligence analysis. The software’s adaptability and compatibility with various systems make it a versatile asset across all branches of the U.S. military and Special Operations.

TurbineOne continues to redefine the landscape of national security intelligence with its innovative no-code, no-cloud software platform, backed by leading defense venture capitalists and deployed globally to support mission success and service member safety.
