United Homes Group, Inc. (UHG), a leading homebuilder in the Southeast, has acquired Creekside Custom Homes, LLC, a home builder and land developer in the Coastal region of South Carolina. The deal will boost UHG’s presence and lot position in the fast-growing Myrtle Beach market, where Creekside’s products align with UHG’s Great Southern Homes brand.
Jamie McLain, owner of Creekside, will join UHG as the Coastal Division Land Manager, along with his team. McLain has over 20 years of experience in building and developing communities in the region. He said he was excited to be part of UHG’s growth story as a public company.
Jack Micenko, President of UHG, said the acquisition of Creekside was consistent with UHG’s strategic vision and would help accelerate growth in the Coastal South Carolina market. He praised McLain and his team for their proven track record and expertise.
