BullWall, a global leader in ransomware protection, has announced the appointment of Steen Lomholt-Thomsen as CEO and Kerry Grimes as EVP and Chief Partner Officer. The announcement comes as the company celebrates its most aggressive growth year since its 2017 launch.
Lomholt-Thomsen, previously BullWall’s Chairman of the Board and Chief Revenue Officer of Clarivate, brings extensive experience from roles at IBM, HP, and IHS. He has a strong track record in commercial scaling, business growth, and sales transformation.
Grimes, the new Chief Partner Officer, was formerly the Global Head of Partners for Aveva and Divisional Vice President of Global Partners for PTC Inc. He brings over 20 years of international experience, including being President of PTC China.
The appointments come as BullWall’s Ransomware Containment, the first and only ransomware kill switch, enters the North American market. The product has already shut down ransomware attacks within seconds at several of Europe’s top companies and organizations.
In addition to the North American launch of its award-winning ransomware containment solution, BullWall achieved major product benchmarks in 2023, including the global launch of BullWall Server Intrusion Protection (SIP). This product brings multi-factor authentication behind the firewall to protect servers and thwart breach attempts.
Axcel Partner Christian Bamberger Bro expressed excitement about the appointments, stating, “It’s a testament to the incredible strength and potential of BullWall’s suite of cybersecurity software products on a global scale.”
