Åsa Bergman resigns as President and CEO of Sweco AB
STOCKHOLM: After 35 years in the company and close to nine years as its President and CEO, Åsa Bergman has announced her resignation and that she will be leaving Sweco.
The Sweco Board of Directors are now initiating the recruitment of a new CEO for Europe’s largest and most profitable architect and technology consulting company. As per agreement with the Board, Åsa Bergman will remain in her role until a successor is in place.
”It is hard to describe the fantastic and long journey I have had with Sweco. It’s been one of growth, internationalisation and technical development and about the people who have made it possible. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Board and all employees for their support and engagement. For this reason, it has not been an easy decision, but I am ready and excited to shift gears and explore new career opportunities,” says Åsa Bergman, President and CEO, Sweco AB.
