
GENEVA: Sword Group has acquired CirrusHQ, an Edinburgh-based Amazon Web Services Premier Consulting partner, as part of its ongoing international expansion strategy.
CirrusHQ, which delivers cloud infrastructure, transformation strategies and migration capabilities for enterprise-scale IT estates, will become part of Sword’s multi-cloud and hybrid operations. The acquisition is expected to strengthen Sword’s offerings particularly in the education and public sectors, a statement said.
The acquired business generates annual revenue of £6 million with an EBIT margin above 12%. Following integration into Sword, CirrusHQ is budgeted to achieve 20% organic growth per year. The company will be consolidated into Sword Group’s accounts effective May 1, 2026.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Sword employs more than 3,600 IT and digital specialists across more than 50 countries. The company specializes in technological and digital transformation, complex IT and business project management, process optimization and data enhancement.
