PARIS: The ICAPE Group, a global distributor of printed circuit boards (PCB) and custom electronics, announced Wednesday it has signed and closed a deal to acquire the PCB trading operations of TEKUBE SRL, a Northern Italy-based firm serving 30 active clients.
The deal, led by ICAPE’s M&A teams and Pascal Lequerre, executive vice president for Southern Europe, adds assets that generated an estimated €2 million ($2.2 million) in revenue in 2025. It bolsters ICAPE’s position in the region, where the company recently hired experienced salespeople to join its local teams.
Fully equity-financed, the transaction aligns with ICAPE’s goal of €30 million in external growth by 2026 and promises operational, geographic, commercial and purchasing synergies, the company said.
“We are delighted with this agreement with TEKUBE, which allows ICAPE to further strengthen its presence in the Southern European market, a priority market for the Group,” CEO Yann Duigou said in a statement.
Lequerre added: “Our agreement with TEKUBE allows us to better serve our current and new clients by offering them an expanded range of services, with a strengthened team and enhanced skills.”
The acquisition brings on key TEKUBE personnel, including Nereo Gabrielleto, a PCB veteran since 1994, who becomes ICAPE’s key account manager. “Joining Icape Group represents an important opportunity for me to help bring customer service to an even higher level,” Gabrielleto said.
Luca Munaretto, another new key account manager with experience sourcing PCBs from China since 2005, said the move will help him “explore new markets” and build stronger client ties.
Founded in 2018 by Mattia Comelli in Udine, Italy, TEKUBE primarily serves clients in Northern Italy’s automotive, healthcare, industrial and other sectors, plus some in Switzerland and Luxembourg.
