Talius Group appoints Pat Howard as Managing Director and CEO

BRISBANE – Australian healthcare technology company Talius Group Ltd said on Monday it appointed former MSL Solutions chief Pat Howard as its managing director and CEO, effective February 2026, as part of a planned leadership transition.

Howard, who holds an MBA and a pharmacy degree, brings more than 25 years of executive experience across healthcare, technology, government and sport sectors. He previously led ASX-listed SaaS provider MSL Solutions, overseeing a rise in market capitalisation from about A$16 million to A$120 million before its sale to private equity.

Founder Graham Russell will move to the newly created role of founder and executive director for strategy and growth, focusing on innovation, sales and partnerships.

Talius, which provides an IoT-driven data platform for aged care and disability services, said the change strengthens its leadership as it seeks to deepen health and government partnerships and expand internationally.

“With favourable regulatory settings, a growing client footprint and strong distribution partners, Talius is well positioned for its next phase of growth,” said Chairman Ramsay Carter.

Howard will receive a fixed annual remuneration of A$350,000, with short- and long-term incentives tied to performance. Russell will receive a fixed A$275,000 plus sales commission.

The company’s shares trade on the Australian Securities Exchange under the ticker “TAL.”

Talius Group Limited delivers sensor and AI-powered care solutions for aged care and disability sectors, aiming to shift from “spot check” to “sense-respond” care models.
