SINGAPORE: Singapore’s Trek 2000 International Ltd said on Monday its subsidiary has entered a strategic partnership with U.S.-based Aboard AI Inc to co-develop an artificial intelligence-driven solution for aviation safety and fleet management.
The system will leverage Trek’s patented high-speed wireless memory technology and Aboard AI’s algorithms to analyse real-time flight data, aiming to identify early maintenance issues, improve safety, and reduce operational downtime for airlines, the companies said.
The partnership is projected to generate more than $15 million in revenue through the 2027 financial year, Trek said in a statement. The collaboration will initially focus on the North American market.
“The collaboration with Aboard AI demonstrates our capabilities to address safety-critical challenges in new industries,” said Wayne Tan, Executive Chairman and Group President of Trek.
The global aviation software market is projected to reach $18.6 billion by 2030, according to a report from Verified Market Research cited in the statement.
