LONDON: Oakley Capital VI, a fund managed by pan-European private equity firm Oakley Capital, has acquired a majority stake in G3, a global strategic advisory consultancy.
The transaction marks the fund’s first investment since reaching its €4.5 billion hard cap earlier this year. Oakley Capital Investments Limited said its indirect contribution via Fund VI is expected to be approximately £18 million, representing its share of the deal.
Headquartered in London, G3 offers reputational and strategic intelligence, dispute resolution advice, and cyber consulting services. Its client roster includes major private equity firms, sovereign wealth funds, multinational corporations and leading law firms. The company also operates offices in New York, Singapore, Tokyo and Abu Dhabi.
Oakley said it plans to support G3’s continued expansion, particularly in the U.S. market. G3 has delivered strong double-digit growth in recent years, bolstered by rising demand for strategic risk advisory services amid increasing geopolitical volatility and regulatory complexity.
G3’s leadership, including co-founders Michael Bevan and Nick Alcock, will remain invested in the company and continue managing day-to-day operations.
“G3 has earned a strong reputation for guiding clients through complex challenges,” said Arthur Mornington, partner at Oakley Capital. “We look forward to helping elevate the business to a leading position in the corporate intelligence market.”
