OSLO: Mario Blazevic has been named interim managing director of Tietoevry Banking, effective Tuesday. He succeeds Endre Rangnes, who was appointed interim CEO of Tietoevry on May 5.
Blazevic, 49, has been with Tietoevry since 2010, most recently serving as head of cards and transaction banking at Tietoevry Banking. Prior to that, he held multiple senior leadership roles in cards at both Tietoevry and EVRY. A Norwegian citizen, Blazevic brings extensive experience to the position.
“Tietoevry Banking has undergone significant transformations in recent years, including a strategic review that resulted in its retention as a specialized business within Tietoevry,” said Rangnes. “These changes have posed challenges, but over the past eight months, we have worked systematically to rebuild customer trust and refocus the organization. With a clear strategic direction now in place, Blazevic’s proven leadership will help accelerate our market- and client-centric approach and advance our international growth strategy.”
Blazevic expressed enthusiasm for his new role, stating, “Under Endre’s leadership, we have built strong momentum, reflected in our growing order backlog. As interim managing director, Blazevic will report to Rangnes and join Tietoevry’s Group Executive Management team.
