ZenaTech to launch drone-as-a-service with new acquisitions
TORONTO: ZenaTech, Inc., a company specializing in AI drone solutions and enterprise software, announced plans to acquire several companies to start its Drone-as-a-Service (DaaS) operations. These acquisitions are expected to significantly boost revenue by integrating ZenaDrone’s technology into new business operations.
The DaaS model allows customers like farmers, oil and gas companies, environmental firms, or government departments to use drone solutions for tasks such as crop management, inspections, safety, or compliance on a pay-as-you-go basis, instead of purchasing the entire drone system. This approach provides cost-effective access to advanced drone technology, improving productivity and reducing manual work. ZenaDrone’s multifunction AI drones will be available through this service directly from the company and through its partners.
CEO Shaun Passley, Ph.D., said that both organic growth and acquisitions are key parts of ZenaTech’s strategy. The company has identified about 20 potential acquisition targets, with several already in negotiation. These acquisitions are expected to increase revenue and support the global launch of their DaaS business.
ZenaTech has secured funding for these acquisitions from its current shareholders.
