Apester appoints TikTok executive Anni Ben Yair as new CEO

LONDON, UK: Apester, a digital experience platform that enables brands to engage and understand customers across all digital media channels, has announced the appointment of Anni Ben Yair as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Ben Yair replaces Itay Gissin, who will remain with the business for a short period to ensure an orderly handover.

Ben Yair is an experienced digital media and technology executive who has held several senior roles at leading companies such as TikTok, IronSource, and other Israeli tech firms. She has a track record of scaling technology and digital media businesses, as well as fully leveraging sales and marketing activities.

Ben Yair will lead Apester’s next phase of growth, as the company aims to capitalise on its highly innovative product stack, which includes tools to create personalised interactive experiences and applications, a data management platform that allows customers to collect and own engagement data, and AI analytics that help to create valuable insights into customer trends, preferences, and sentiment.

Apester is a subsidiary of Sivota, a London listed investment vehicle focused on later-stage, Israeli technology companies. Sivota acquired a majority stake in Apester in May 2022 for $12 million in a reverse merger transaction.

Ziv Ben Barouch, Chief Executive Officer at Sivota, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Anni to Apester and believe that her significant experience across the digital media and technology sectors, and proven business development capabilities, ideally positions her to lead Apester as we implement a highly ambitious international go-to-market strategy. We look forward to working with her to fully capitalise on our highly innovative product stack.”
