KOC’s Project Of Visual Flame Detection Systems

The installation of a CCTV visual flame detection system for the Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) pipeline from NTF to North Pier has been successfully finished, according to Aesthetix.

Aesthetix employed their knowledge to offer the project’s most practical and effective solution. The project’s scope included intricate redundancy requirements, alarm monitoring, and analogue 0-20 mA signals sent through a fibre optic network.

By altering the monitoring system and implementing improved industrial switch configuration methods, positive changes were brought about. Along with supplying an appropriate DC power supply suitable for hazardous settings, the project scope included incorporating signal transfer to RTU.

Aesthetix expanded the project’s scope by taking part in the design, engineering, manufacturing, assembly (integration), FAT, supervision of erection, site acceptance testing (SAT), and commissioning of the visual flame detection system as well as the necessary interface (network) components for the optical fibre communication system (OFCS) and hazardous area DC power supply systems. Aesthetix is a pioneer in providing effective VFD solutions.
