SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: Teaminvest Private Group Limited (ASX:TIP) has acquired Burman Invest, the retail fund manager founded by Julia Lee.
Julia Lee is a well-known market commentator, who regularly appears on Bloomberg, CNBC, ABC, Sky and Sunrise.
Lee, who is also on the board of directors of the Australian Stockbrokers Foundation, will be moving from her role as Chief Investment Officer at Burman Invest to work in a global role.
The acquisition of Burman Invest adds further capability to the Company’s funds management division, in line with the strategy of further developing investment banking operations.
Funds managed by the Company now include:
Teaminvest Diversified Growth Fund, a wholesale diversified fund of funds;
Coliving Future Property Fund, a wholesale property fund; and
Burman Invest, a retail listed equities fund.
