The Organic Meat Company to export heat treated meat to China

KARACHI, PAKISTANI: Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) listed The Organic Meat Company Limited (TOML) has received approvals and has been granted registration by Chinese Customs authorities for export of heat treated beef to China, a news release said on Friday.

The company has pioneered the heat treatment process whereby Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) virus can be removed from beef meat. “This process will enable us to access more markets for value added meat products,” company noted.

The Organic Meat Company Limited are one of the very few meat processing plants in South Asia that specializes in beef, mutton and edible offal of the healthiest, grass fed and free range animals from the green agricultural lands of Pakistan.

TOML is certified and audited by various international food safety and veterinary authorities on a regular basis. The outstanding production facility, tremendous capacity, and good manufacturing policies at The Organic Meat Company Limited ensures tender, tasty and safe meat and offal.  

The Organic Meat Company’s (TOMCL) primary business is exporting fresh chilled meat, frozen meat and frozen offals to the middle eastern, far eastern CIS and South Asian markets.

At present the Company has the ability to export to 11 countries. The products are carefully packaged in cloth, vacuum packed or IWP (individually wrapped packing) food grade plastic, and are exported via land, sea and air.
