Morpho decided to establish a local subsidiary to respond swiftly to the increasingly diverse and sophisticated needs of local markets and to strengthen relationships with smartphone-related customers.

TOKYO: Morpho Inc. announced that the establishment of “Morpho Taiwan”, a 100% owned local subsidiary, with the aim of strengthening its business foundations in the fields of smartphones, video surveillance, and industrial IoT in Taiwan.

“In the smartphone business, which is the main business of the Morpho Group, we have expanded business in Taiwan in addition to Japan, the United States, Europe, China and South Korea,” a news release said.

Previously, sales activities and technical support for customers and partner companies were conducted by Japan and neighboring countries team.

Morpho decided to establish a local subsidiary to respond swiftly to the increasingly diverse and sophisticated needs of local markets and to strengthen relationships with smartphone-related customers.

In Taiwan, which has grown to become the world’s leading region in semiconductor manufacturing technologies and IT fields, Morpho Taiwan have accelerated collaboration with local companies in the field of semiconductor and electronic components makers. In the field of Smart City and Industrial IoT, Morpho Taiwan have begun sales activities to provide Morpho’s AI and image processing technologies, including human detection and image analysis.

Morpho will continue to actively create new business opportunities in the Asian market.
