SYDNEY: Bisalloy Steel Pty Ltd has announced the signing of a supply agreement with Leong Jin (Changzhou) Special Steel Co. Ltd through which a broader range of premium wear and structural Q&T steel products will be supplied exclusively to the Australian market to service growing customer demands and enter new market segments.
Bisalloy has undertaken extensive testing of the Leong Jin products to ensure that they not only meet the expectations of Australian customers but also that they meet Bisalloy’s high standards for the Australian market.
In announcing the signing of the supply agreement Greg Albert, CEO and Managing Director of Bisalloy said, “A spirit of partnership between the two companies has seen an open sharing of technical knowledge and expertise thereby allowing us to confirm that the Leong Jin product can readily compliment the BISALLOY steel product range in Australia.”
Bisalloy will support the products in the Australian market with application advice, sales and customer service support, distribution and technical expertise. In addition, Bisalloy and Leong Jin will jointly develop sales and distribution opportunities in Thailand, Indonesia and New Zealand.
Leong Jin, a privately owned Singaporean company, has a modern and dedicated stand-alone Q&T manufacturing facility located in Changzhou, China with the capability to manufacture quality Q&T product as thin as 3mm which can be extremely difficult to achieve and will be the perfect complement to Bisalloy’s existing range.
