JKJ Benefits, a women-owned agency specializing exclusively in employee benefits, was founded on April 1, 2008, by Barbara Brewer, Rise’ Kieren, and Trina Jackson.
The founders, who have decades of experience in the insurance industry—Trina since 1979, Barbara since 1986, and Rise’ since 1982—grew the agency organically by providing high-quality, customized services. They built a steady and loyal client base over the years, offering a range of group benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability, as well as individual products such as life insurance, accident, cancer, and critical illness coverage.
