Rugby League has announced a new partnership with ABK Beer, a historic and popular brewery from Germany.
ABK Beer will be the Official Beer of Rugby League, with rights across the Betfred Super League, Betfred Challenge Cup and England Rugby League.
ABK Beer’s branding will be visible at all fixtures from 2024, and fans will have the opportunity to taste the product range at the Magic Weekend in August.
RL Commercial’s Managing Director, Rhodri Jones, said the partnership was a result of months of planning and that ABK Beer shared the sport’s ethos and values. ROKiT’s Chairman and co-Founder, Jonathan Kendrick, said he was excited that ABK Beer, which is part of the ROKiT Group of Companies, had become the official beer of Rugby League, as he believed rugby fans appreciated excellent beer and the traditions of the 700 year old brewery.
