PARIS: The board of directors of Groupe SEB unanimously appointed Loïc Moutault as chief executive officer, effective Oct. 1, 2026, the French home appliance maker announced.

Moutault will succeed Stanislas de Gramont, who will remain in the role through Sept. 30, 2026. The company said the separation of the chairman and CEO roles will be maintained, with Thierry de La Tour d’Artaise continuing as chairman of the board.

The appointment was made on the recommendation of the Governance and Remuneration Committee.

Moutault, a recognized international business leader, spent more than 30 years with the Mars group, where he served as president of Royal Canin and later as global president of Mars Petcare.

De La Tour d’Artaise thanked de Gramont for his commitment and said the board chose Moutault to lead the company’s next stage of development, citing his international experience, knowledge of global brands and consumers, and ability to transform complex organizations.

“The Rebound plan is under way and starting to deliver results,” de La Tour d’Artaise said. “With Loïc, we intend to return to our profitable growth trajectory, step up the activation of our innovations, and prepare the Group’s next stage of development.”

De Gramont called his tenure “an honor” and praised the company’s teams, brands and industrial expertise. He wished Moutault and the group’s employees success.

Moutault said his priority will be to meet with the company’s employees, customers and partners. He said he will carry forward the Rebound plan, with the ambition to accelerate its execution, strengthen profitable growth and prepare Groupe SEB’s next stage of development.
