LONDON: Gana Media Group plc announced that Lorenzo Caci has been appointed to the role of Chief Operating Officer for the Group. In this role Lorenzo will be responsible for overseeing the operation of all global business areas of the Group, directly supporting the CEO in the Group’s further expansion and growth.
This appointment comes after Lorenzo has successfully led the Company’s Igaming business in Mexico in the build-up to and through the World Cup period. Already bringing users to over 55,000 while substantially increasing first time deposits (FTD) and gross gaming revenues (GGR) for the company.
Lorenzo brings enormous experience in the iGaming industry and is widely respected and acknowledged as a senior commercial leader and entrepreneur with over 20 years at the intersection of sports data, iGaming technology, and digital media.
Progressed from director-level roles at Sportradar – working with major-market accounts across Southern Europe, the Americas, and the subcontinent – to founding and scaling technology platforms in emerging markets. Currently co-founding ventures in sweepstake gaming and advising game studios and media groups, with a strong focus on Latin American markets.
It is also the Company’s intention for Lorenzo to join the board on completion of the necessary formalities.
