LAKE BLUFF – Homewerks Worldwide, LLC, a leading home improvement products supplier, announced on Monday it has acquired the Character Project Kits product line from Character Home, Inc., a move that expands its footprint in the growing do-it-yourself (DIY) plumbing market.
The acquisition includes Character’s Faucet Installation Kit and Showerhead Installation Kit, all-in-one solutions that bundle tools, supplies, and digital support to guide homeowners through common plumbing projects. Homewerks stated it will immediately integrate the product line, which is currently available in over 3,000 retail stores, including Lowe’s and Walmart.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The kits represent a “do-it-with-me” approach to home improvement, designed to make basic tasks more accessible. They include tools like basin wrenches and plumber’s putty, paired with digital how-to guides and real-time expert chat support.
